I ran out of gas 8/24, I had my 2small babies in the car along with me. They were supposed to get me gas within 30mins. They got there an entire 1hr and 30mins later which would not have been an issue, however when they got there we realized that they didn’t have gas! I called and the dispatch said he had NO clue I even had a service request. If it couldn’t get worse, they were so rude and could care less about me having small kids. The only positive was the driver was very kind, his name was Damion. Very polite, very professional and was not rude like the supervisor and the guy spoke to originally. I won’t EVER spend my money with them again!

very unprofessional and unethical, towed our van after hours so we couldn’t get it back that day, and before the weekend so we can’t get it back for another two days which racks up storage fees. we tried to stop them and pay the fee on the spot but they refused. the woman (rent a cop) he was with should have been fired herself, she told us it wasn’t registered when we have the registration, we will fight this, we have all the proof we need to prove to these crooks that they’re in the wrong.

Tough situation. I had my car over 300 feet up a dirt road on the side of a mountain and got severally stuck in soft soil. Called Steve's because they were AAA affiliated, even though I do not have AAA. I was in a remote location outside the city, south of Lake Mathews. I was told approx 1/2 hour ETA, turned out to be closer to 40 minutes (very acceptable). A driver by the name of William showed up with a large capacity recovery truck. He had to run out more than 300 feet of cable to get to my car, which was by then very precariously perched to the side of this road which had a very severe drop off to the side. Took about an hour to extricate my car, and some creative chaining of a cable block to some rocks, but they got it. My car came out undamaged. William was very courteous even though it was a really big job and required some tough work and rigging. The bill was $360 (2 hours @180 per hour - includes vehicle with large set of recovery options and driving time to get to me and return to their shop). So was a lot to pay, but overall satisfied with their response, professionalism, and creativity needed to get my car out. Recommended. These aren't the cheap guys, but definitely worth it.
