Called their Service department to ask about getting an alignment on our Thor motorhome. They said they do not offer this service so I asked if they could recommend a place because I had not been able to find anyone that does alignments for RV service in the area. I was told I was on my own would have to look it up myself. I asked if this is what they told their hundreds of customers that they sell RVs to and they responded in the affirmative. What kind of operation sells RVs to people and does not even have a recommendation for alignment services they do not provide themselves? I know for a fact they must know of a place because most new RVs need an alignment from the factory because they add all the weight to the chassis and often do not realign them. If this is how they treat customers for something like this I can only imaging how they do business. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We worked at first with Bonnie at the Santee location, and she sent us to the San Marcos location to find the exact camper we wanted. In San Marcos we worked with Matthew. He was friendly, a wealth of information, and worked to get us the price point we wanted. Thanks for your hard work, to both Bonnie and Matthew! We love supporting local businesses, and Holland carried the brand of RV that we were wanting to purchase. Recently updated service to include RVComplete insurance and they are part of the Costco membership discount plan, shopping local now has some national benefits.

Absolutely the worst Newmar dealership in the US. Not just me. Spoken with other Newmar owners. None will ever return. My Newmar coach with only 2-3 minor repairs was with them for 4 months and 1 day. My new coach was still under warranty. Upon receipt it was still not fixed! We sold it. Also, when their #1 salesman found out we were selling, he offered us $80 grand less than we sold it for. What a piece of garbage. These people and the whole place are the worst! If you’re looking for a Newmar to buy or serviced, trust me. This is not the place. Till now, I’ve never left a review on anything but absolutely had to for Holland RV in San Marcos!

Holland RV Centers is a place where miracles happen! On one particular afternoon, my daughter, Jennifer, came to me and said, "Mom, I've been doing some serious research on RVs for over a month, and I just feel like I need to go to an RV Center and take a look at them." We hopped into her car and while we were driving, Jennifer described what the perfect Class B RV would be for her. And then I said, "Let's call it into your life!" We laughed. The 4 Class B RVs on the first lot were new and beautiful, but not what Jennifer had envisioned. We hopped in her car, again announced, "Let's call it into your life," laughed, and drove to a second RV lot. They didn't have any Class B RVs, but they recommended Holland RV Centers located at 251 Travelers Way, San Marcos. Even though it was getting late and they would be closing soon, we decided to travel the additional 30 minutes just to see what they had on their lot. Jennifer laughed when I again exclaimed, "We can still call this into your life!" We arrived, parked, and got out of the car. In a moment, we were graciously greeted by Salesperson Tony. After Jennifer asked to see their Class B RVs, he explained that they only had 2 on the lot, one of which had just been sold. He opened the door of the Class B RV that was available. Before going in, Jennifer asked him if we could just look at the sold one--just to see the floorplan. Tony left to ask while we looked inside the available RV. It was nice, but not the one Jennifer had envisioned in her mind's eye. When Tony returned, he went to the front of the previously purchased Class B Leisure Travel van, removed the sold sign, and exclaimed, "It's now available!" "What?" we thought! "That's an amazing turn of events!" We then walked into the 2014 Free Spirit Leisure van and our eyes widened in awe. I could see Jennifer's eyes and mind working a hundred miles an hour. I asked, "Jennifer, is this the Class B RV you had envisioned?" She was still taking it all in. We both felt this incredible feeling of excitement mixed with peaceful assurance. She decided to take it for a drive. She asked Tony to drive first because she had never driven anything so large. To her pleasant surprise, as soon as they exchanged seats for the drive back to the RV lot, she felt instantly comfortable and at ease driving this 22 foot 9 inch RV. Moreover, it only had 17,000 miles on it! After returning to the RV lot, we sat down with Tony and drew up a contract which was approved! Jennifer became the sole owner of this beautiful and highly acclaimed 2014 Free Spirit Leisure Van! It was as though it was meant specifically for her! During the next two weeks, Bob, an exceedingly gifted, talented, and knowledgeable all around maintenance specialist, prepared Jennifer's Class B Leisure Travel Van with unparalleled excellence, meticulousness, and precision! In addition Bob provided a 2-hour training tour of the vehicle that was fact-filled, entertaining, engaging, and informative. It included photo ops, company RV gifts, and sodas/water on ice! What an incredible teacher, trainer, comedian, and mechanic all rolled into one remarkable specialist! We think the world of Bob! We are ever so grateful to a God in Heaven who blesses His children, Jennifer in this case, with the good desires of their hearts. Moreover, how thankful we are for those individuals who are placed in our lives, such as those at Holland RV Centers, especially Tony, our salesperson and Bob, our mechanical specialist, who make such experiences even more ethereal. Our rating for Holland RV Centers on Travelers Way is off the charts! It's a place where a miracle happened for us!
