I love this rite aid out of all the near by ones located across the bridge in uptown Manhattan because it's actually stocked with products and doesn't have a lot of theft going on that has closed other rite aids up and down new york city! It's large and clean enough as well however they do close down earlier that the time posted and security has a mind of its own however the rest of the employees are productive and beneficial. Also they have the best pharmacy out of the other nearby rite aids and have stood the test of time as two closed down in new york , one one west 187 street and west 161 st. Both closed down in the first week of March. Only west 235 207 178 & 170 stand today including this one in Ogden. But like I said this Ogden one is always fully stocked and cleaner with of course less traffic but large enough to be a flagship for the neighborhood

I used to use this store all the time--it's open 24-hours and is two blocks from my apartment. However, it's basically unshoppable now. Almost all of their products are locked behind clear cases and you have to push a button and wait for the one person in the store with a key to open the shelves. I have allergies and need to read the ingredients of products before I buy them, but I can't do that anymore. The person comes, opens, and you have 10 seconds to select your items because they have to go open a shelf for another customer. It's stupid. I only come here now because the pharmacy has my prescriptions. I buy my other items at other stores, stores that don't treat all of their customers like thieves.

After trying to return a rite aid brand bandage tape- that costs $5. And knowing about most businesses I would not receive my money back without a receipt - I decided to exchange it for something else and pay a difference. This location is very convenient to the bus/train commute. That being said, its gets a LOT of foot traffic so the store is often not as organized as it should be. They always try to keep things well stocked - the toiletry section and …Thank you for taking the time to provide this in-depth review, Liseli.
