I had 4 supervised visits with my 10yr old daughter whom I've been alienated from for 6yrs! Needless to say, I to believe this establishment needs more help! Bertha sits in the hallway and monitor's two or more visits at a time! They aren't rude! Everyone has there days.. My issue is with bertha and the staff!! It's been almost 2 weeks I've been calling to recieve my supervised visit report! Bertha Cleary has to much going on because she has lied to me days in a row! Call back on Tuesday... Well it'll be done Thursday... Or try me this Monday etc! I can't see my child or petetion the court for more visitation etc without the report! She (Bertha) said today that the report would be done by 7! And She would call me.. Well i called her at 7:05.. Co-worker said call bertha back in 10 mins, she's cleaning up! I call back in 10 mins to be told bertha left! She had a family emergency and to call back tomorrow after 11am! So I've reported them to the BBB! I didn't want to.. But they certainly aren't taking my life, case, situation serious at all!! The staff does care, and Will help if they see a way to help! I just believe they need more help and to take each person serious. My visits went okay considering my child has been lied to and kept away from me for 6yrs! Bertha even helped me communicate with my child!! So they are good people and want the best!! But business is business and they need to handle it easy better and punctual!

The Lady that runs this institution is very unprofessional, rude , formidable, a dishonest person, not friendly , environment for young children is uncomfortable. This lady think it's ok to greet people by screaming form her office at you. Never introduced herself . She acts like she has no manors . No matter how many times you tell this lady you don't like being yelled at from her office to where your standing by the front entrance . She keeps doing it . This place should lose there contact with Alameda county Child service. Yes Bertha I have you on my recorder screaming form your office at me . So by Karen.... I also have you on recording laughing about you canceling the visit . Who's laughing now Karen or Bertha. Since you never in all 3 vist would tell me your actual name.

They are not neutral in any way. They lie based on who they "like" or prefer to work with. My husband is raising his baby girl and was ordered to take her to see her mom at this facility. Mom has no idea what to do to stop baby from screaming, so on multiple occasions staff called Dad to get ideas of what mom can do to quiet baby and/or to come pick up baby early from visit due to mom's inability to calm her. Yet their court report states that mom "does everything appropriately" whereas dad "appears irritated when his questions are not answered and his requests are not followed". Sounds EXTREMELY opposite of neutral to me. They lie to your face!! They told us to "forget about the contact" when we tried to hold them to it and explain mom's unusual behavior. They have 1 uncertified person supervising 2 large rooms from the doorway in the hallway. The price is NOT worth the headache. But there really isn't any other option for a place to get supervised visitation in the county for anything less than $100 an hour.
