Nice regional park with a swimming hole. Can get really busy on hot weekends when the swimming hole is open. Parking is $5 and pretty plentiful. Recommend having cash on hand or get an East Bay Regional Park Pass for $60 a year. Has connections out to trails that head both North and South.

This is a really great swimming hole for kids and adults! The sandy area was clean and great for our beach towels and playing. We especially liked the clean water which ran as deep as 5 feet. The deep zone is marked and there are life guards on duty. There are life jackets available as well. There are both bathrooms and changing stalls which were very well maintained.

It was nice going to a park were the park rangers weren't rude in fact they were friendly, helpful, and polite. But I do think maybe the park can switch up the rules with there alcohol policy. Allow it.

It depends on the day, if it is a holiday or they charge. Normal hours are only Saturday and Sunday.
