One person at front desk. She was very busy and very mechanical. People waiting and phone ringing the whole time. Every employee there seemed extremely stressed and unhappy to be there. We were there to drop our dog off. We changed our minds and left.

My friend's pets get great health care here for a decent plan that covers most issues.

The lady at the front desk kept rolling her eyes at everyone she would speak to over the phone and even try to get customers in the store involved in her annoyance with the customers on the phone. They canceled my appointment leaving a voicemail saying the vet has jury duty and they can’t get me in for two months because they were too overloaded and busy to squeeze me back in for something they were rescheduling, the lady leaving the voicemail went on to laberate how difficult her job is since covid and ended up leaving a 4 minute message ( I should have sent her a bill for listening services). Finally, my dog got seen there once as a drop off it took 8 hours for him to get seen for them to tell me to give him OTC meds the next day I had to pay a regular vet bill to get him seen his skin was so bad. Horrible horrible service!!!!!! So unbelievably disappointed as I have always had great luck with Banfield, I will try a different location before I discontinue my membership

I've been with Banfield for several years. I have a dog with issues that is seen regularly in both SR and RP. The staff is great and Dr. Wood is amazing. I wouldn't make it through all of my dog's drama without the Banfield team. Highly recommend.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
Hi Monique - Our recommendation is to work with your regular veterinarian to discuss treatment options. They would know what is best for your dog's condition and care. We do our best to accommodate walk-ins and same-day appointments. We always recommend calling the team to discuss your pet's needs. Making an appointment would allow time for our team to prepare for your visit and reduce your wait time. If you’re not sure your pet needs to come in and you’re an Optimum Wellness Plan client, you can also ask pet health questions 24/7 via Vet Chat in the Banfield app.

We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
