We walked into this crowded restaurant thinking we were going to be waiting 20-30 mins for a table, we were greeted by an energetic smiling lady who seemed genuinely happy to see us. She started walking us to a table and then saw some people getting up from the corner of her eye and said "if you want to wait a minute, that table is roomier and will be quick to clean off." It was a nice big table! The service was amazing, we were in and out in 40 mins. The prices are good, the food was very good. They have local art for sale on their walls. We bought this cool abalone fish. Overall we loved the experience and will visit again next time we are in town.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, and anticipated our needs. The food arrived quickly. Portions were large, 2 meals in one. Price was very reasonable. My adult daughter has wanted me to try David's for some time but I am a creature of habit so don't often try new restaurants, glad I listened to her! We will for sure return!

"Hit" or "Miss?" 4.5 stars. EXCELLENT: omelet, service and value. I loved the hometown feel and hearing the waitresses welcome the regulars by name. The restroom was common sense and clean and the ambiance was very welcoming for such a large space. If the coffee were better David's would have achieved five stars. For us, David's is a "Hit" and we think it will be for you too!
