The 3 hour float from our campsite to the bridge was awesome!! Hippy rock was really fun to jump off of and the water felt so nice

Well kept river-side campground with drive-in spots. Bathrooms and running water available at the top and bottom of the campground. The Eel River has been nice this time of year too. Just careful if you want to float, be ready to navigate the waters.

Conveniently located on the Eel River. Even the campsites farthest from the river are a short walk to the river. Vary affordable. There are two areas. The first, near check in, are first come first served sites. The second area, being closer to the river, are sites reserved online . We stayed in the first area, drove up in a couple of trucks to a pull off, hiked down to the river, and tubed down to the campground's beach. After getting back to the campground someone with a car took the owners of the trucks back to the pull off. The rapids where fairly easy. (*Though they may scare young children.*) We were a large group of young adults. Other then a few bruised butts, due to bolders just below the water's surface in the rapids, no one got hurt. A few people flipped over, I did not, and the only thing we lost were a pair of boots that were not tied to the the craft they were on. I give it 4 stars rather then 5 because I was told there is no drinking water there. There are water spigots but they are not for drinking. I just brought 3 1/2 gallons of drinking water. Which I bought for just under $10 at the corner store in Potter. So not too bad.

Great place for a campground. Bathrooms often are pretty stinky. There is trash service, water spigots and river access.

Angelia, the web indicates that TC is open. How do you know that it is closed?
Yes it is! We've been there twice this year already for memorial day and 4th of July! We're going back this labor day if the smoke clears up from the wildfires
I've read that trailers aren't permitted, however when I was there I had notice a small Rv and a tent trailer. I'm assuming they have lightened up on rules. The camp host is also a sweetheart. Also, don't expect hookups if you bring in a trailer.
Hella yeah
Was just there. They are open, Manger is a D#$k. Alot of the sites are taken for the weekend.
I have seen quads and dirt bikes there...also the road along the backside of the creek. And the fishing is good if you walk up river a little bit
Open... Yes unless. There's reservations?
Its closed for the summer this year
There are no hookups at this site.
Yes
About 15.00 per night and 5.00 per night for extra cars.
