Not a good place to tent camp. Our site was under a shelter right next to the 4 lane highway. Very noisy all day and night. Could still hear the traffic with ear plugs in. Long term campers there. Appears people live there permanenty. Large utility truck left at 430am and woke us up every day. Shower house was gross and smelled of mildew. Hair all over the sinks. Everything in the shower house needs a good thorough cleaning. We showered elsewhere as it was too gross to use. Location is good, but would not stay there again.

My husband is staying there for work. He has been there for a few months now. People are always helpful and friendly.

Stopped for the night on our way home. Great location, very friendly, full hook ups! Check out the antique and quilt shop!

Firstly, do not follow GPS to where Google Maps has this place located, it's not anywhere near there. The RV Park is a couple miles north of the New River Gorge Bridge. If you're coming from the north, turn left at mile marker 22 and the park is almost immediately on your right. The park itself is basically a large grass area with several close together spots (maybe 30), full hookups, a bathroom with showers. No laundry, no wifi, and right on US 19 so there's a lot of highway noise. Very close to the visitor's center and Fayetteville, a 3-5 minute drive to either. Friendly staff. All in all, it's not necessarily a beautiful place, but it's not horrible either. Several long term RVs setup that are in various conditions...

Yes
Yes! Several campers have their dogs with them!
The shuttle bus usually doesn't stop at this campground however. But the owners usually have ideas for transportation to the bridge.
