Where to begin? If I could give 100 stars I would. My 80 year old, awesomely active father got bad sick and lost his leg last year. Rehab was aweful, but, I am so happy to still have my Dad. It was touch and go. I live in Santa Cruz, my parents are in Santa Rosa. They are on a very limited budget. I myself am a working Mom and often don’t have a lot of extra at the end of the month. Mobility Masters never even attempted to sell me a new power chair. They seemed to grasp our needs immediately. This small company refurbished an old power chair that isn’t even made anymore for less than $600.00. Including diagnosis, wheels, new batteries, a new armrest, delivery, and home care instructions! Unbelievable. We had no prior contacts there, they are just good people. A friend gave me a very used power chair that her father in law no longer needs. It is older and needed a lot of work. I googled and found power wheelchair services in Santa Rosa and Mobility Masters popped up. Oh! My! Gosh! These people really do care. They serviced the chair, replaced the batteries and wheels, replaced a worn looking armrest, and DELIVERED it to my father. The two fine young men who took it to his apartment taught him how to use it and how to charge it and how to safely get it in and out of his small apartment. They cared about him, even taught him how to use it for a fraction of what a new one would have cost! (I do not have resources for a new one.) My Dad is acting like a kid at Christmas this night! It’s delightful. So fun for him. Makes me so happy. It seems as if this will change his life again, accept for the good. He is having a wonderful time. Thank you Mobility Masters!!!

They will push items from inventory without regard to the suitability for the intended use. They recommended a Jazzy select 6 (which was in their show room) for use in a mobility van. Its low ground clearance makes it not a good chair for this application. It is barely functional on anything other than a perfectly flat surface. This is something that they, as experts, should have been aware of. I bought 2 items from them and the process was the same. They didn't ask the right questions or didn't understand what questions to ask. One worked out (by chance) and one very much didn't. I have moved out of the area but if I were still in Santa Rosa I wouldn't go back.

Hi Leslie, due to hygiene reasons we do not rent commodes. We do sell them in our store, let us know if you have any other questions.

I am looking for a wheelchair-accessible van for a 96-year-old passenger who needs to get out a few days a week. Their could be as many as two passengers as well as her. Do you sell or rent these kinds of vehicles?

Mobility Masters | Sep 8, 2019

Hi Steven, we do not rent or sell wheelchair accessible vans. We do sell the lifts that attach to the back of a car that can carry mobility equipment. You can see the models that we sell on our website - www.mobilitymasters.com. You can also call our store and one of our associates can help to see if there is a lift that would work with your car and mobility equipment. I hope this helps!
