Don't be fooled by the glitz and glamor of the web site. It used to be pretty great but the new activity director seems lazy, not sure why he still has a job there are better people more in tune with seniors and what they want/need. There are NO activities save the same repetitive Friday night Happy Hours and the activities the other residents do. There are lunches and breakfast but the food is dismal at best. Not worth the money we pay nor the money you will pay to live here. This place has gone downhill but the prices are going uphill. It doesn't make sense. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head, then aside from the astronomical pricing, this place is okay. If you're looking for more interaction, activities, and phenomenal lunches look elsewhere.

This is a great place to live. There are so many things here to do it will keep you so busy staff at care free are the best. So come live with us.

I only gave this property 4 stars because the apartments are becoming dated. Yes, the spa has been a continuing issue but is being refurbished as I write. The social activities are first class and the calendar is full of both free or very inexpensive activities. The staff is second to none from prompt maintenance to Yvonne, their wonderful and caring activities director. The pool area and grounds are beautiful and are maintained to stay that way. Ken is an outstanding owner who cares about his tenants and attends many events a year to show it. If "just" an apartment is your goal, you can find cheaper. If an active community is how you want to spend your senior years, this is the place! Unfortunately the complainers are the ones who chose not to be part of the large family at Carefree....

How much 2bed house for sr. Citizen SSI 66
We have a 940 sq ft 2 bedroom and we pay almost $1400. Parking sucks here
They have a community bus for residents that goes on specific days and at set times for shopping, and bank. They sometimes do planned trips to, for example, Laughlin, NV.
Yes outdoor pool & hot tub.. Yes card games. Also encouraged to start your own games. Average ages probably 65 to 70
Yes $35mo for parking space. If you like to do things, they have things to do. Games, TV, movie night, lunch(pay), breakfast free 4days a week continental style. Bus for town and some out of town trips(bank, store), pool, jacuzzi, exercise rm, hairstylist.
How much does it cost for a one bedroom and I would like to know what is the age limit to be able to move in
It's about $1,350 depending how many people live there
This is a place for people other than managers and employees answer questions. I am disabled, didn't work there, only lived. The rent was a little high for me and unfortunately i had to move. If not for that, i would still be there! All of the employees are great, so are most of the residents.
If you break your lease, yes. Or cause damage above your deposit.
I am not sure I don't live there I just walk a dog in there call the front office and ask
Please contact the property directly at 702-233-0648. The are able to answer your questions regarding pricing and availability.
