I visited the St. Johns Providence ER yesterday. Had excellent care from Dr. Jamadhor and his nurse Mark. The doctor thoroughly examined me, did all tests, and covered every possibility of my pain.Thank you so much. I left there knowing what the illness was and how to treat it. God bless.

I've unfortunately needed to use the ER at St. John's more than I would like to in the past year. It is an inner-city ER so expect to see some pretty out-there people/cases there but the staff is excellent. They move quickly. They will come get blood and urine for testing while you are in the lobby waiting so that your time there is shorter. They are real-world and to-the-point which I truly respect. Nobody wants to be in the ER but when you need to go - it is great to have people that understand that you are in tough situation. I'd like to never be a repeat customer but if I needed them - it is nice to know the nurses and docs at St. Johns are there for me.

Great patient experience from the nurse Matt in the ER Department! He was very kind and helpful to me when other nurses were treating me rudely and like my life didn't matter. He made me feel like he cared about my health concerns and truly showed empathy when no one else did! Thanks Matt!

Do not go here for an emergency. A nurse saw us for 15 minutes, fixed the problem with my 3 month old and we left. We got TWO bills totaling almost 1500$ One was for the hospital and ANOTHER was from a doctor that never saw us- supposedly the nurse who helped us works under this doctor. The hospital is in network with our insurance but ALL EMERGENCY DOCTORS at this place are subcontracted in and are out of our network. The doctor doesn’t need to even see you, because the hospital’s nurses are technically under these out-of-network doctors so the doctors get to charge you separately. HOW IN GODS GREEN EARTH DOES THAT MAKE SENSE!
