The rudest and most unprofessional staff I’ve ever dealt with. Used to flying huge airports and would expect this behavior out of them not a small airport I would expect people to go above and beyond. Would not recommend this airport to anyone.

It is really convenient for the area, nice and roomy, they got their stuff down pat so ur not waiting for anything really. Cutsie restaurant. Plus you never know who you are going to meet there! I met Beaker from the Muppets this past Christmas there! 😆

Strangest airport on the planet. I show up and there's nobody in the entire place. I mean nobody. Walked completely through the airport and not a soul. Trying to find flight information and there's no arrival board or anything. They don't even answer the phone!

Are you flying in? If so, I think they make arrangements to have someone there as necessary. If you are not flying in just rent local. Maybe Enterprise will pick you up?

Contour is the carrier and they go back and forth from Charlotte. You would fly to Charlotte and then have to take another airline. I believe a Contour is partnering now with American so that might work for you. Hope this helps.
I do not know about flying to California. I know you can fly to South Carolina. You can call and ask them. They are friendly and helpful.

Allegiant, a scheduled charter company, selects where they want to fly. Generally they serve a two hour drive circle around their selected airport with minor overlap based upon population density. Pkb is less than 2 hrs from three allegiant sites. Contour is much more comfortable and reliable without the hidden charges.

Contour Airlines flying out of Tampa was the only choice I had. I also would have liked to fly in from Fort Myers as that's where I live. It's a nice flight on a 20 passenger plane and it flies on Saturday only. Best of luck to you!

Contour Airlines will start flying from Parkersburg to Charlotte via Beckley on December 5.
On Dec 5 Contour Airlines will begin jet service to Charlotte.
ViaAir is the current airline and does fly to Sanford/Orlando with a stopover in Beckley and a change of planes in Charlotte - as of now. Their contract for service is up in several months, so if the air travel is for December onward, you'll have to check with them for routes. Just an FYI: after their contract wasn't renewed, I believe Via has raised ticket costs and has cut flights intermittently.
