I give this place a 5 stars only because of Mona Snipes She works there and she is amazing I just love her energy Beautiful soul in-and-out they should hire more people like her it will make this place way better Very hard worker good with people If I ever open up my own gym I'm taking her out of here

This location is awful and all of their front desk employees have attitudes. They stand at the front desk with airpods in and don’t even greet you while waiting to be scanned in. The only employee I see smiling is a slim elderly guy who cleans all the garbages. I’m not even sure why anyone would waste their money to train with their only personal trainer. He gazes off into space and looks completely unenthusiastic about training his clients unless he’s talking with friends. Don’t expect to find parking on the weekends because the trampoline park next door is always crowded from birthday parties. You expect us to wipe down equipment after each use but never have paper towels during peak hours. Employees are so concerned about clocking out when they close that they mop the floors and block off one section of the treadmills at 1pm. (see photo below). The gym doesn’t close until 10pm why are you closing half the gym to clean? Good luck getting a smith machine after 5pm because all the guys hog them due to planet fitness not having bench press. Oh and when you finally get a smith machine people stand directly behind you, watch your entire workout, and ask how many more sets? Annoying! Stair master is constantly out of service and doesn’t get repaired for weeks. If you slam weights and carry a gallon water bottle jug Planet Fitness considers you a “lunk,” what a joke! However, the lunk alarm is never used for its intended purpose at this location. Instead the employees here are so lazy they sound the alarm when the gym is closing because they don’t want to go up to members and tell them the gym is closed. One night the skinny hispanic kid with glasses said “they’re not moving fast enough” and proceeded to ring the lunk alarm until everyone left the gym and laughed with his coworker like it was funny. Horrible! After 3 years I can finally never step foot in such a horrible establishment again.

Ok, here I explain my rating: I don’t understand why we need to wait for the Staff to finish doing whatever they are doing before they scan the card and let you in. Some of us have a schedule to follow, limited time and we cannot wait 5mins to go in. I waited but nobody scan so I decided to go in and the older lady in charge say I have to wait. Then she loudly say: “you called me a B**ch?” I did not even say anything. I don’t understand. Please kindly, scan us in without issues. Please kindly, focus on cleaning dumbbells . Please kindly, inspect the gym during busy hours and you will see what happens in there. (5-8pm). Please kindly, refill disinfected spray and napkins. And most important, please kindly we want to work out for stress release and go back to our life.

Giving this place 5 stars for the manager Christine and the rest of the staff. I had a problem months ago and Christine was quick to investigate the issue and take care of it, communicating with me the entire time. She genuinely cared about …We'll miss you, Kelly! We're glad to hear that Christine left a lasting impression on you and helped you out all throughout the last year. Rest assured her hard work does not go unnoticed! We hope wherever you end up is wonderful and that you'll continue your fitness journey! Good luck and all the best!

Are 14 year olds allowed because I just turned 14.

Ronit Patel | Nov 24, 2020
Planet Fitness (Owner) | Nov 25, 2020

For insurance liability reasons, children under the age of 13 are not allowed in our club. Since you are 14, you would have to join with a parent or guardian present, and you can only work out with a parent or guardian with you at the club. Be well and stay safe. Norman

Any bars? For calisthenics, like pull ups, dip stations etc? Also free weights? I’ve heard planet fitness stereotypes of just using machines.

Kevin Hernandez | Nov 24, 2020
Abu Bayaan | Nov 25, 2020

Yes they do have stations for pull up and dips. There are a variety of dumbbells but no free weights. They don't cater to heavy lifting, but aside from that, it a gym, and universal weights can do the job. I would suggest you drop in and check it out.
