Honestly I went there because I figured they were experts, but.... I went in and asked for wire to make a 75 foot cord from my 40 foot trailer to the power box. I brought one end of the plug part (male) with the wire we needed attache and said I'd also need the opposite plug (female) . After spending $150.00, I take it home Friday night and Saturday morning my boyfriend went to do the work, and found a male plug and the wrong wire. I ended up at Lowe's because Platts was closed. I got the right wire, the plug and a cover for the plug (weather protected ) for less than Platts. I am now stuck with the wire because they cut it to my dimensions. It was also my fault for not verifying before I left but..... 3 prong instead of 4 and 3 color wire instead of 4. If any one needs 75 feet of wire. I can send them a copy of the receipt so they know the size and I'll sale it for $100.
