Great team on site. Came in with a shifting problem that another store could not fix. They worked hard at it, ruling out one thing after another, finally found the problem and fixed it. Price charged was very fair.

I was recently in Encinitas for a few days. I didn't feel like bringing my bike with me, and a friend in the industry recommended RIDE Cyclery as a good place to rent a road bike. They set me up with a carbon fiber Cannondale with Shimano 105 — it was my first time in awhile riding a carbon bike. The staff was kind enough to set me up with necessities like a tube and Co2 inflator. They also took extra time to dial in the fit (best to do that with a torque wrench handy, especially with carbon frames and seatposts). They really went the extra mile because I thought I'd brought my own pedals. As it turned out, I took them off my bike back home, but forgot to pack them! The RIDE guys just happened to have a sweet of the same kind I use. They really bailed me out! They also recommended some routes, as did a few customers hanging out. Rental was $80 for 24 hours. A very good rental/shop experience. I'll rent from them next time I'm around.
