So glad to find this spotlessly clean, modern facility! Dorothy, the on-site manager, was incredibly helpful, explained everything clearly, showed us the perfect space and was able to handle our rental quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with this Extra Space location. Would recommend.

So, this review is based on pricing. The facility itself is excellent. Clean, plenty of lighting, easy to get around...no issues there. The issue is the price. I obtained the room just over 12 months ago. In these 12 months, my rate has been increased twice. I received the first increase notice 5-6 months in. Just received the second increase at month 12. So in 1 year, my rate has DOUBLED. Almost like a bait and switch. If this is the norm, then its an awful business model. I'm now looking to get my stuff out.

I'm not a stranger to Extra Space Storage (ESS) and will be forthcoming in saying that most leave a lot to be desired. There are two that are close by me and both of them were overpriced. I also had less than ideal customer service experiences with one of them. What initially brought me here was the online price. Even after the price was slightly raised (not uncommon), it was still reasonably priced and cheaper than the units in my local town. I also think that it is worth mentioning that management is wonderful and very accommodating. I initially reserved a small locker and when I was dismayed by the tiny size, I was quickly given a larger unit. I must say that my experiences were not one off as I recently upgraded my unit to a larger size and experienced the same great customer service. If you want a facility with units that are reasonably price and a great customer service experience, go to the Extra Space Storage in Ridgefield.

They very nice and helpful made the process very easy. Dorthy took the time to explain everything and walk me through. Before I went to the storage since I booked online I also received a phone call. Unfortunately I can’t remember the gentleman’s name but he was also very helpful and nice. I feel comfortable leaving my stuff here.
