I love this gym. Very friendly staff. Never to crowded two hour free parking no problem. I use Machines hardly have to wait as I circuit train. Steam bath really nice, private showers. Shampoo, conditioner body wash. Razors if you forget your own. Kinda pricy but so is your health. Oh did I mention salt water pool on roof if your into swimming. Cool personal trainers...I'm renewing..

Membership is expensive but you get what you pay for - facilities are clean and equipments are in good shape. Canceling membership is a terrible experience. Despite the salesperson telling me that as a returning member, my plan was month-to-month, when I tried to cancel, club manager first insisted that I signed up for 12-month commitment, then claimed that I had a "misunderstanding" but she would "make an exception" and allow me to cancel. With the proliferation of in-home workout equipments and digital experiences, the old gym model of locking people into yearly contracts and hoping they don't bother to cancel are not going to work any more.

Even with the space being kinda small I like this gym a lot. Clean, nice equipment, good vibes, convenient daycare, cool instructors, great amenities. Equinox has better classes than the one in the garage, more to offer than the one that has a color theme and better in every way than the chain across the street. If you can afford it then do it.

I joined when it opened 15 years ago. It's steadily become more corporateand less interested in providing the good fitness instructors that it used to have. Classes are shorter and changed all the time, without letting members know. Props and weights aren't available reliably. The instructors are always friendly and cheerful, and usually good. It's a nice building, and has been well decorated and maintained, but has some serious flaws, probably since the building is old: lights flicker on and off, the heat seems to go on at random times, the water fountains and showers sometimes have pressure and sometimes don't. I stay because I have some instructors I like, and there are some very good classes. The weight room is extensive and usually there is space on machines for you to use. But I would never join now at the rates they have raised them to.
