Absolutely gorgeous beautiful excellent greens and fairways
golf lover
Very nice course and interesting layout. I just wish it was more wildlife friendly. They put massive amounts of blue dye in their ponds so no wildlife can survive in it...no reeds or birds to see. Even ducks stay out of it. I don't even see any small critters around the course... squirrels, rabbits, lizards etc. I play golf to enjoy the scenery, especially wildlife on courses like this. We need to be more wildlife friendly in this world... it is their planet also.

My favorite course. Great views, nice breeze keeps us cool. Game varies of course but always a great day out.

No keurig Regular coffee maker
We got a poolside Cabana (totally worth it) and were able to bring our own food. We also got drinks and things from the snack bar, and didn't bring a feast or anything. Maybe discretion was the key.

All I say you need is a better cutting board and a ice cube tray. Everything else is there.
It's the first building/driveway on the right as you arrive, there is a sign at the driveway that says Lobby / Administration Building.
It's normally 4 but if the room is ready they will let you in earlier.
San Diego International Airport
Every room has a full kitchen. They all have a full size refrigerator with an ice maker.

No, is not include it but you have a kitchen with all the appliances to cook a delicious breakfast, just make sure you get your basics to start the day from one of the local supermarket.
No shuttle bus from the Welk Resort to San Diego.
It's around 45 minutes, traffic isnt all that bad...have fun
The rooms were very clean when I was there recently. However, the Avalon villa I was in did have some signs of wear. They could use updating, but it doesn't seem outdated.
My kids enjoyed the drone flying and pretty much lived in the pool area. There is always something for kids there!

Menu selections change seasonally... better to call them directly.
They have two types of one bedrooms a small one with no tub or washer and dryer and a large one bedroom with a washer and dryer, tub and a fireplace
I was there recently and it's a beautiful spa with a great atmosphere. I believe they rennovated the whole spa. I found their website and menu at the Welk Resort site and through their name Elevate Day Spa. The pricing is typical for a resort spa. I had a manicure and facial and had a really great experience! I would totally recommend
3pm. If you get there early, they have a restaurant, mini market and a gift shop. They will also give you a pass to hang out the pool area.
