Wish I could give a rating at 0 stars. This has been the worst expierence I've ever had with any autoglass repair company. When they came to fix my window nothing else was broken. Window is fixed but the tech broke the sliding van door, he told me to call my own insurance to get a rental and that safelight manager would have tje van fixed. When I called the manager told me it wasn't safelights problem and I need to get it fixed myself. I cant believe how bad there customer service is and how irresponsible the company is. This happened 5 days ago and my door is still broken and will not close. Pictures attached of the door being tied shut so I can drive to work. DO NOT USE SAFELIGHT AUTOGLASS. HORRIABLE PLACE. THEY WILL BREAK YOUR CAR AND NOT FIX IT.

I’ll never go back to this location ever again. They aren’t as organized as they should be. I scheduled an at home appointment to replace my windshield and when the technician arrived he started the work and didn’t realize he didn’t have the correct parts with him so we needed to reschedule which was fine. However during my rescheduled appointment no one ever showed up and I didn’t get a call. So I needed to go to the actual location to get everything done. Took them 4 hours to complete and they broke a piece off my mirror so it’s just hanging. They told me they would ordered a new piece and that was 2-3 months ago. Now everytime I try to get a hold of that location I can never reach anyone. I like the company but this location needs a lot of work so I wouldn’t recommend going here if you can go to a different location.

I had a repair tech come out to repair two chips that they told me should be fine, however one day later the smaller chip they repaired (that I wasn’t even worried about) grew to half the width of my windshield. I called them and they told me I would need to cover the entire cost of the windshield replacement. How is this a business? They took a small/unnecessary repair, turned it into a major/necessary repair, and then refuse to cover any of the newly incurred costs. I definitely won’t be replacing the windshield here (or at any Safelite) and will ensure I never do business with Safelite again. I decided to go with Perfection Auto Glass in Pleasanton who is only charging $370 for a full windshield replacement that Safelite was quoting at $500.
