My surgeon was amazing. Dr. Cravens did an incredible job. Rachel and all the nurses and helpers during and after surgery were awesome. I could not have gotten better care. Thank you All for being quick to respond when I needed anything and making me safe in your care.

Emergency room visits are never pleasant but the care and compassion shown for my son when he had a true emergency was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Staff recognized the issue as soon as we walked in, we were brought right back and it all happened so fast. We got to the hospital around 1:30 and the ambulance for children's mercy was there by 3:15 to take us downtown for emergency surgery. I really can not thank the staff enough for the quick diagnosis and treatment. My heart is so full and I want to thank everyone who was involved in his care.

Could not be more thankful for the proactivity this entire staff takes to make sure each patient is seen and heard. Being a first time mom, it was crucial in feeling comfortable with finding a doctor you can trust, who is also diligent in answering any questions and sharing all necessary at home care tips that may make taking care of our baby easier. We can’t thank you enough! I see why now you came so highly recommended.

Call information
Hi Amy, the only address I have is: 9100 W 74th St, Overland Park, KS 66204
Should always try to go to a primary Dr. Unless it's an emergency. Flu is not .They probably told you to follow up with your Dr. If you don't have one there are clinics there is a free one off rainbow and 7th st. But unless it is something that can be treated with antibiotics then they will also tell you that you just have to wait it out. Viral colds can not be treated with antibiotics. Only infections. Like strep. So my rule is if it's not green mucus or white dots and the back of your throat wait it out
We are in the Ambetter Sunflower Health Plan.
There is no donation center here, they do have sometimes a blood drive from community blood center and that's it. And there is no compensation other than a juice and chips.
That's really one of the faster Emergency rooms to be seen in because it has so many beds. The nurses are joking with each other to keep a positive mood and make a 12.5 hour shift go by smoothly, hopefully. Unless you work in healthcare you wouldn't undetstand, and no one is going to walk around in your " requested behavior".
You need to check with the hospital.
Yes
I have no idea if is HCA Hospital. The last time i was there my daughter was born and that was 30+ years ago. Hell i didnt have insurance then, i was only 19, and i paid cash for her delivery. It was around $1200 and that was delivery, taken care of mom and three nights in the hospital for both.
Just like anyone else. You go in and determing your health you wait just like those who have insurance
Served cafeteria style. Grill for hamburgers, chicken sandwiches. Specials each day. Large salad bar. Fountain drinks and bottled juice, pop, coffees, etc
Kathleen, thank you for reaching out. We do not provide Obstetric or newborn services at this hospital. As a result, we don't have a need for assistance with babies.
You would have to call up and ask for your medical records or call to main entrance and see if one of the ladies up front could help you.
Call 913-676-2000 and ask for Cardiology testing.
Call hospital
Yes
No one is going to talk to u about your bill on here. U need to call the hospital.
I'm not exactly sure there are several doctors that work in the wound care wing of the hospital
Yes, but it's better to have your patient relocated to Olathe hospital where you actually get a bed.
I had a colonoscopy there and I had to go to the main entrance
I think almost 10 day, if you want you can give them a call, ask the operator for the gift shop. Good luck
You can call there no. and ask the operator, they will connect you to them.
Ask someone at the front desk. I don't think that information is given over the phone.
I'm sure they do but to be sure call and check with shawnee mission.
I only have experience in the birthing center but the patient rooms have a white board with the nurses number on it, sometimes this changes if the correct phone isn't passed along during shift changes.
You will need to call shawnee mission medical center for that answer.
It is but on the 2nd floor, best rout to explain as your heading west on 75th past the fitness center take the first right and keep going north until the stop sign the take a right then a left that the entrance they also call it the copper dome entrance, as you walk in ease to the right and you will see 2 flight of elevators take it to the 2nd floor once you get off turn left and the heart clinic doors would be to the right. Remember if you get lost ask for. Cath lab, heart clinic, copper dome. Those are terminology that most if not all who work there understand. U did add a photo of the copper dome and uploaded like 2 to 3 months ago. Hope you get well soon :)
That would be s state issue. The hospital want have that information.
