The Merriam Marketplace partners with area farmers for a Saturday Farmers' Market. There are vendors that sell locally raised and processed meats each Saturday from 7 am - 1 pm.
Yes, one of the vendors had seeded large watermelon this weekend.
Masks are required. Vendor spaces have been reduced in half and vendors are spaced under the pavilion. The market has been split for one way traffic for shoppers. Shoppers are asked to follow distancing protocols. At risk shopping is reserved from 7 - 8 a.m.

I believe breakfast with Santa is 2maro morning 2nd & tree lighting is Sunday eve. 3rd. Plz don't quote me on that. I'm going to stop & look again. Small cost for a gr8 function with Santa & bring present of your choice with child's name on it. I remember that much. If I can get bk to this point, I'LL try to update. So many functions with schools & bday parties etc. It is posted on pole at the market place & I believe rolling across the l.e.d. sign, or contact Merriam parks and recreation for more details as well.
