Everybody in central NY knows or has heard of GreensScapes. It really is the time of year to be thinking about putting in the "annuals" or maybe even a perennial, or two. Time to make the short trek over to GreensScapes and make my selections. As expected on a warm, sunny weekend day in mid-May, they were busy. My wife and I began browsing the seemingly endless variety of plants, having an idea of what we wanted but no clue where to find it. Within 2 or 3 minutes a Greenscapes employee cheerfully greeted us and offered to help. We had a ton of questions and this female employee clearly knew her stuff! She answered all our questions and gave us the guidance we needed to make the best selections for our property. Cheerful and helpful employees are an asset and create return customers. We made our selections and another employee quickly offered to cart and load our purchase for us. We are well into our spring plantings with help from GreensScapes and will certainly be shopping their diverse, quality inventory again.

I went here last june. I got two apple trees and two peach trees. This year apple trees are doing great along with the other fruit trees I got from lowes. The peach trees are doing bad. I emailed the manager and they refused to exchange them for other trees because I don't have the receipt for them. I was not looking for cash back just a different variety that would do better in my location. Save your money and buy from lowes or Walmart. I really feel bad that the business is not going well here where they can't afford to make things right for the customers. Oh wait I found the tag from the tree and it was the same company that they buy from. Lowes and Walmart don't buy from that company.

We do! They are all buy one, get one free as well!
Not yet - but they are on order. We're hoping to have them in within a few weeks. They were too small at the nurseries to ship yet :-)
We do! We have a Crimson King Maple (25 gallon container) for $399.99, Japanese Maples (3 gallon - 15 gallon) for $169.99-$419.99, and also Red Sunset Maples (green in the summer and bright red in the fall) from $199.99-$399.99. *5/22/21
Increased cleaning practices (especially on high-contact surfaces), limited occupancy in sales office, outdoor cashiers, and no contact ordering and delivery.
Unfortunately, we do not. We've had some trouble trying to find them this season. If we do get any, I will report back!
Unfortunately, we do not. You can check with River Road Greenhouse, Candella's Greenhouse or Chester's Flowers :-)
Good morning Kim, Unfortunately we do not have any in stock right now. We have Clematis and Climbing Hydrangeas right now. 🌱
Hi Fred, Unfortunately we are sold out of that variety. We have several different colors of Knock Out and Drift Roses in stock right now. Thanks, Mollie @ Greeenscapes
Hi Will, We do! We have Weeping Snowfountain Cherry Trees ($189.99-$299.99) that have white flowers in the spring. We also have Ruby Tears Crabapples ($189.99) with pink flowers in the spring. Hope this information helps! Thanks, GreenScapes Team
Martha, Keep an eye on it, but I think it should be fine. There may always be a scar there, but over time it should start to heal. Take the tree wrap off for now so it can start to heal on its own. If that wrap holds too much moisture against the bark, it could start to rot. But the wrap on in the Fall for the Winter and wrap from the ground all the way up to the first branch. The bark around the scrape will probably dry out and flake off eventually. Just keep an eye on everything and let us know if you need anything :-) Thanks, GreenScapes Team
Hi Jan, We do not, but maybe check with JayK Lumber in New Hartford 👍 Mollie @ GreenScapes
Hi Mary, Unfortunately, no we do not. You can check with George's in Clinton or Jones Nursery in Rome. Happy (almost) Fall! Thanks, Mollie @ GreenScapes
Rachelle is correct! Spring flowering bulbs should be planted in the fall, normally mid to late October. Doing this ensures that they go through a needed cold dormancy period.
Usually around 8am - depending on what time our driver is scheduled to work. If you have a delivery on the books, someone will give you a call when they are on their way :-)
No clue
