I recently went to the Home Depot in Johnson City New York and was helped by an incredibly professional sales associate. Trevor was in the flooring section and I asked him about a million questions about my DIY home repair and he had a very smart detailed answer for all the projects I inquired about. Would have been 5 stars if not for the woman in Appliances who told me the only small chest Freezer was the one I found on the shelve and none were open to see the product. I walked into the main aisle and found the exact one I wanted and one was even open on display. Not sure if she was new or lazy or in a bad mood but I was so unhappy about her I left without a purchase.

I was just at the Home depot in Johnson city, absolutely horrible customer service. I was looking for Dewalts Brad nailer, I asked a woman in the isle on her phone where they might be she looked up at me as if I interrupted her and said 18.. nothing further, I said thank you no response. I find the tools but they had sensors on them so I couldn't read the packaging. I wanted to see if it took staples and nails. One of the sensors went off I went to get someone so I could make them aware and ask them questions. There was again a lady on the phone she was clearly talking to a customer and she asked the two gentlemen behind her if one of them could assist me, zero acknowledgement... I see another work shutting off the sensor so I went over to apologize for setting it off and asked if he could answer if the Dewalt nailer took both nails and staples. I wasn't sure he heard me because again no acknowledgement, he starred to look at the box, so he did hear me. Only pin nails her replied and ask I was asking him another question he walked away. 3 strikes your out... I set all my stuff down and walked out..

We purchase many thousands of dollars worth of lumber on a regular basis and its usually quite a headache to get any help with a forklift here. Several employees that typically get irritated when asked for help with a forklift. No shortage of employees walking around the store though...

They have local contractors do the work. Usually do a good job. If Home Depot gets a couple of negative feedbacks on someone, they're dropped.

The prices vary. It really depends what you're looking for. If you going online to their site, you can look yup ceiling fans at your nearest home depot.
