We have used window world 3 different times now. They have installed 61 windows. We love the windows. They are good quality and fair priced. The same installers came each time. They do excellent work. We hardly noticed that they were here. They were very communicative. And did a thorough clean up job!

Condescending and Unprofessional. I have discovered multiple leaks around windows that were replaced on my mobile home. The franchise owner wants to blame the leaks on my "Old" trailer. I had to tear the wall apart and take photos to prove that it was their window that was leaking and not my home. They finally took care of it, although it wasn't done in a very prompt fashion. I and now dealing with more floor and carpet damage caused by leaking windows that they have turned into their insurance. The communication from the franchise owner was not consistent, in my opinion. I never knew if I would get a phone call or an email. I originally had all of the windows and doors on my mobile home replaced. The doors were not correct to start with. That created a delay in finishing the job as well. I would have to say I am very dissatisfied with the company, not the product. I would recommend anyone needing placement windows go somewhere other than Window World of Binghamton. Mr Hoffmeier seemed to be a condescending, smarmy, unprofessional businessman in my dealings with him. Leaks damaged my floor and ruined my carpet. He didn't seem to think that he should have to replace my carpet. He was attempting to offer to buy me an area rug. After their insurance agent stopped by, it seems that getting my carpet replaced will be part of the repairs. I just hope I am allowed to have the repairs done by someone else. I would not trust the work from these people again.

I had a new door put in by Window World. It was so fast, about 45 minutes. All cleaned up after, door works perfectly and is beautiful. All the neighbors have commented on it!! Great job!! It required no fancy adjustments like those suggested by a competitor. I was very happy with the entire process.

if I could rate these guys a zero I would in a heartbeat. Today they chose to knock out a whole bunch of windows by breaking them rather than taking them out claiming they could not get them out. They were just being lazy. They caused a huge glass shower onto the residential deck below. as well as the grass three floors below. A couple years ago they put in a window for me leaving a huge hole underneath claiming that the window they measured ahead of time was not big enough and there was nothing they could do. also, once you are a customer you will get letters from what looks like a friend then you open it and it's an advertisement from them. no thank you this is a very sleazy company. I would never use them again, ever!!

After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as they arrive for your installation.

Generally, replacement windows can be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date that the final measurements are taken. The type of window being installed and type being removed helps determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average each window takes about 30-60 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
