The Overland park location on College has AMAZING staff! They are so friendly and we felt they genuinely cared about our son and helping him reach his maximum potential. He has made so much progress, from not mumbling his words, trying a lot more foods, better at handling stressful situations, is more aware of his personal body space, etc. The list goes on and on. I would HIGHLY recommend Brain Balance. I can not say enough good things about this program.

The staff will take the time to actually listen and understand why you and your child are there, formulate a game plan, and execute over the course of your time there. The program involves the entire family, in addition to the time physically spent at the program itself. Our experience was that the time and effort put into our child and the work outside of the meetings paid off tenfold. Never in our wildest imagination prior to starting the program would we have hoped for such a transformation, but Brain Balance delivered on every promise made. We started the program in tears, and graduated full of every reason to hope.

Our daughter completed the program in 2012. It's been 5 years and we can still say it was worth every penny and every ounce of effort. The staff at the Overland Park center was amazing. Haley always felt like a super star when we walked in the door. Every person who worked with us was patient and kind, showing compassion and encouragement to a family who was very discouraged at the beginning. Brain Balance changed the dynamic in our home. It gave us confidence as parents, empowering us to enforce what we already knew was right in terms of nutrition, physical activity and screen time. It gave Haley confidence to believe in herself and she even began to dream big for herself again. Haley is now a thriving sophomore. She no longer gets carsick or freaks out at the mere thought of a risk. Instead she is a roller coaster junkie who loves to tackle a challenge head on. She decided her middle school needed a Christian student club, so she called the District Youth Director and the principal. That club is now in its third year even though she is no longer a student at the school. Her efforts were publicly acknowledged at youth camp last summer when the Director had Haley speak to over 700 teens, encouraging them to get involved at their schools. Then she had the opportunity to pray for them...wow! There are many things we might regret doing as parents, enrolling Haley in Brain Balance is not one of those things.

Both of my sons, ages 14 and 16, have participated in the programming at Brain Balance of Overland Park. I am so incredibly grateful for the caring help of the staff here! They were all deeply committed to helping our family and specifically to helping our boys realize their true potential. I have seen phenomenal growth in both of them! The programming has been key for them in working past the barriers to success they were experiencing with their own processing challenges. I highly recommend Brain Balance every opportunity I get.
