The outside pools at the shawnee country club and Bershire are ridiculous. The outside pool at shawnee country club has broken diving boards and broken torn up concrete and paint that has gotten worse on the bottom. Then yesterday without warning the manager closed it claiming its not 80 degrees but yet it was 78 outside and a clear sky. Manager is never there to speak to just clueless workers who couldn't tell me anything. Berkshire pool thankfully was open and it was just fine to swim in except the pool was full of dirt and debris from trees and no staff paid attention to cleaning it but we got chewed out for wearing towels over our swimsuits by some lady in the evening when there was no one at the front when we arrived. Staff need to be taught more about cleaning the pool and being present up front.Sad this is what we are now paying more money for after they ended our monthly discount

Found the forward tees a joke. Many were just areas mowed down in fairway. Many of the fairways are in a rough conditions as well. The white tees were hit or miss as to there condition. Will say the greens were in very good shape and putting was no problem. Next time in Topeka will try another golf course before I return here.

The corse was kinda rough but not bad for a great life corce. These where 2 bunkers side by side.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! BEWARE OF MEMBERSHIP RACKET! Do not sign up for a membership unless you want to jump through hoops to get out of it! The billing department never answers the phone OR returns calls when you leave a message and no one is ever at the service desk. I was given wrong info, specifically told when I signed up that my membership ran from the date I signed up to the following year and to cancel by THAT date. I remember because I specifically asked and wrote it on my calendar. Now, I finally got someone to answer the phone and he tells me that their membership period runs from April 1st -March 31 so I'm stuck with memberships fees until 2021! AND it doesn't matter that they've been closed during that time for COVID, nothing reimbursed, no exceptions, no apology, just out of luck. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and was told that they don't take calls!? I honestly never leave bad reviews, but this is just ridiculous!
