Recently I was there for the Just For Her Expo. Oh what a fun day! The restrooms were kept cleaned & stocked (downstairs). I liked the art they had on display on the lower level. Hadnβt seen that before. The event ran smoothly as usual. Normally Iβve been here for religious conventions so it was interesting to see how the set up was for this! For over 200 vendors, it ran smooth like butta!! Everyone was nice & engaging. This is a great spot for this event due to their being sooo much space. Especially during COVID still. The decor from the moment you step off the escalator was captivating, feminine, & got you excited to see more! The convention center is in a great location just off the highway. Close to a Childrenβs Hospital, & plenty of food & gas around. Nothing bad to say! Thanks!!

Here in the Overland Park convention center to vote 2020. The building is well maintained and clean. Friendly staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Nice addition to the area and Kansas City since opening in November of 2002.

The convention center has some very nice green space, multiple poke stops, and an art collection on display throughout the various hallways.

Sadly, no.
The convention center is open during the times of the event scheduled
We have eight loading docks suitable for standard commercial trailers, two drive-in ramps with direct access to our Exhibition Hall located on the east side of the building off of Woodson Avenue.
There are 17 designated spots for handicapped parking under our covered parking lot located on the north side of the building off of 110th street. The building is equipped with handicapped accessible entrances & a passenger elevator to navigate both floors of the convention center.
Most of the time it is on the 2nd level accessible from the hotel circle drive off of College Blvd on the South side, but that is assuming the event you are specifically interested in is in the main exhibition hall on level 2. Coat check stations are set up outside the entrance to the event space. Keep in mind there are other event spaces on the first level accessible from 110th Street on the North side so it will depend on which level your particular event is located.
