Unlike reviews on this site, I want to praise the skilled rehab department. My husband and I moved to Assisted Living at Gardens of Lenexa in June. Recent hospitalizations called for rebab for my husband of 62 years. He has been cooperating with his physical therapy and nutritional needs and his recovery has truly been a miracle. He had been diagnosed with rapidly progressing, sever dementia, and has come back to us as a whole person. His memory is still not all it might be, but enough that it is notable and noticeable. His humor is his greatest gift, and perhaps my biggest reason for having been with him since we fell in love those 64 years ago. It’s back. If this is poor care, folks, I beg to differ. Each of us has our own experience and perspective. This is mine. He’s back.

Delmar took great care of my mother for over 8 years, every staff member was great, and treated her with respect and dignity. A special thanks to Karen and Ann the social workers that were always looking out for both my mom's and the families best interests. A lot of great, caring people work at this facility.

Everyone at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa showed me so much love! it is such a loving and caring environment. I was here to get stronger to go home and know with the help of the therapists I will be successful at home. The food is great too!
