I'm kind of old fashioned when it comes to churches and this place is definitely not a traditional church. It felt more like I was being intertained than getting what I'd typically expect from a church. Wasn't bad though, and if you like a laid back church atmosphere, where it's more like a show than church, you'll love this place. The leader, Roy, is a very good speaker, and the singers & actors are good at what they do, hence the 4 stars.

This is a truly excellent church for contemporary Christianity. They cover modern, relevant topics and feature great music, videos, etc to enhance the experience. I'd highly recommend Shoal Creek to anyone anywhere. With SSCC you will find a very friendly and accepting community.

We love attending and serving here! So real and relevant to our lives and Christ-centered. When you keep in mind the fact that most people don't have a personal relationship with God, you'll completely understand the approach Shoal Creek takes in reaching those far from God. It's definitely not traditional, but for us, that's the best thing about it.

We were looking for a new church home where our Autistic son would feel welcomed and grow in Christ, along with our preschooler and family as a whole. Shoal Creek has been a good fit, and we love the sound Biblical teaching at a place where the lead Pastor doesn't always have to be in the limelight--hearing from various members of the pastoral team is awesome! The music and drama are amazing, and everyone is encouraged to participate in journey groups and service opportunities to use their unique gifts while growing in Christ together.
