This has to be the worst hospital in the world. My daughter was seen by a ENT at this hospital that wrongly diagnosed her with ear eczema and prescribed her antibiotic ear drops to no end for months until she was finally hospitalized with a severe ear infection in both ears, and mold( aspergillosis) growing in her ear a couple of weeks after seeing him. She arrived at this ER with pain and swelling in her face and jaw on the left side, pain in both ears and a severe headaches ( which apparently was due to her right frontal sinus being inflamed and full of pus, something I did know until after they discharged her). They discharged her after two days of I.v. anti fungal medication. She has been back at least 4, or 5 times since then over the course of a month with severe headaches, pain in her face, burning and itching her eyes, blurred vision, pain in her ears, hearing loss, abdominal pain and side effects from the strong oral ant fungal meds. Each time they send her home with out remedy. This last time she went in a day ago with the same symptoms and they leave us in the room and see everyone else because they don’t know what to do with her. After 5 hour they send her home again with a diagnosis of headache and middle ear infection, but yet ”they can’t treat her,” seeing that they’ve given her so many antibiotics that she no longer responds to them. Mean while the cat scan shows the same inflamed sinus still filled with pus. And the anti fungal doesn’t seem to be working, they won’t admit her because of the insurance and she already was admitted there a month ago. So I guess their just gonna let her die.

I’m Gonzalo Lopez, Victor Lopez Morales’s father. We were at ER Department on 06/12/22 and we received great service from Alina Atianzalago Nurse and Felipe Pedroso Surgeon. I recommend this ER for all children.

DO NOT COME TO THIS ER!!!! The wait time is insane taking in consideration that they are children!! Went in with my 11 month old that had very high fever and a consistent cough and had to wait in the lobby for two hours! There were only two patients in front of me. After finally getting called in, another two hours passed and not even ONE nurse came to at least check up on my child. The room was extremely cold and it was 5am already. When I went to ask one of the nurses for information, first I couldn’t find any and the ones that were there were just talking to each other and completely ignoring the fact that I was standing there. Right after my mom went out to also find someone and asked them why it was taking so long, they said there were still three patients ahead of my son. My mom told him we were going to go home because it was inhumane to be waiting for that long with a sick child and the nurse just said “then leave”. Of course, I ended up leaving without being seen by anyone. If they are short on doctors or whatever it is that is going on, they should inform you so you could have the option to go elsewhere. If you really have an emergency, please do not go to this place!!!!

Difficult to give a good review about a bad day at the ER room, but they deserve it. They treated us like royalty to solve a situation that we wasted 10 hours to solve at another hospital. They found the specialist immediately, gave us an accurate diagnostic, a temporary solution and a guide to solve the problem long term. More important than the knowledge or experience on those situations is the right attitude and they have it; they made us feel part of a family during a difficult moment. Thanks for your support
