My son and his friends were in a terrible care accident on 7/23/22. His best friend was flown to Ryder. During the entire stay there was little to no communication with the patient's family, nursing staff was argumentative and uncaring and no one offered care for the patient or family's mental health during such a difficult time. Trauma care is important and essential but the basic patient care is forgotten in such a "well known" institution. For a young person to lay in a bed for 1 week and not have a bath, brushed teeth, clean hands or hair is poor patient care. The stories I hear from this child's poor mother about the care of her only son is heartbreaking. Simple and basic human compassion is lost in this facility. Working in the healthcare industry myself, I am embarrassed by my "professional family" for the lack of care for this young man during such a terrible point of his life!!!!

I took my uncle to Jackson west, new facility. They were great. This all changed when we learned that they had to take him to the on on 12 ave, and 16th Street. This is the worst experience we have ever had. I called to get information, I am the emergency contact and am taking care of my mother that is 91. I explained that I could not get there. My uncle was taken there because they said that the surgeons were at this location. Two weeks in now and they have not carried out the procedure they were going to conduct. They have done everything but what he went in for. We, as his only family are so distressed, I can't even begin to describe. We have been promised time and again that the doctor is going to call us , and we are still waiting. I was told to call the administer, the social worker, I have left messages, no call back, no nothing. We are going tomorrow and getting him out of that place. Nurses are so cruel, they have no compassion what so ever. Unbelievable,!!!

My husband had a bike accident. I am sitting on the floor outside like a dog.There is chairs empties inside but they don’t let us to sit there. There are other 4 family members for another patients sitting on the floor too. Great level of care Jackson!!!!
