My aunt was treated here and she was barely treated with care . Thank god our family came in to assist the multiple nurses at the time, we had to literally take care of our aunt ourself in she was in very critical condition after a stroke . Being here was very upsetting and heartbreaking, I would not recommend this facility to anyone. If you do have to be here please stay with your family/friend in the room at all times if possible.

So let me start by saying that I'm sooooo grateful for select Staff they were great and treated my wife like Family. My wife was there for a little over a month for a stroke. She was admitted there from St. Mary's and it was a great decision. They cleaned her well and kept her turned every 2 hrs. My wife had no bed sores and her trach care was excellent as well. I will admit some of the CNA were lazy but it was very few. For the most part all the nurses and CNA showed compassion, Patience and concern for not only my wife but me as well. I was even impressed with the Security guards who were all very nice. Select I Appreciate You.

I highly recommend Select Specialty Hospital (Palm Beach). The care my husband received was outstanding. The staff is friendly and attentive. Each day I visited, I was always greeted by staff (from the security men that checked me in, to the nurse walking down the hall, to the maintenance guy, etc.) with a "good morning" "good afternoon". They certainly made my visits a to a hospital much easier. The nurses, CNA's, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, case manager were always pleasant and made us feel like we were Important to them and not just another patient. The day my husband was discharged after a very long stay, his caregivers came by his room to say goodbye. Lots of tears were shed...as it felt like we were leaving family. I can't thank Select Specialty Hospital enough for what they did for us. ( a little extra Shout Out to Ednie and Elcine, they cared for my husband like they were caring for their own dad)

My wife Helen just completed three weeks as a patient at Select Specialty Hospital. She received excellent care from a very professional and dedicated staff. They did their best to keep her comfortable and help her to regain her strength, and cognitive abilities after a serious car accident with a traumatic head injury. The doctors the nurses and all of the aides were exceptionally caring, patient and genuinely concerned with Helen's health. She had physical, occupational and cognitive therapy daily with very qualified, therapists. With their help and the help of her doctors she was released after 21 days so she could go home and continue her rehab. I can't imagine her being in a better facility for the purposes she needed.  She had been 20 days in the ICU at Delray Medical before being transferred to select. I am very glad that our family helped me decided to transfer Helen here. We have read some negative reviews of Select, but our experiences were extremely positive. We would totally reccomend this facility. They were the perfect place to help with Helen's recovery.

This isn't a place that diagnosis. It's a private hospital, just smaller. They only accept patients from another hospital. I would suggest Palms West if you're looking for a hospital that takes people as walkins

Do you have a behavioral health unit?
