BEWARE of Pricilla Rangel at this office!!! I had an interview, 3 weeks later went into the office to find out what was going on w my case since they allow you to wait weeks with no information & waited for 3 hours to find out THEY didn't complete the application process. I had to reinterview. Called PRICILLA RANGEL COUNTLESS TIMES! Left SEVERAL messages begging for help!! Received my denial and PRICILLA RANGEL blocked me from calling her!! THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE!!! I cried to her stressing how badly I needed help and THIS IS THE HELP THEY OFFER! I asked for her name after the 2nd interview & she tried giving me a fake last name. I had to have her spell it out! Cant get ahold of anyone, they refuse to see you in person, they have you dit in that office just to call you. These people need to lose their job, they’re in the WRONG business. No empathy at all. You’re just more paper work pilling on their desk!

Horrible experience at the actual facility, couldn’t get a hold of my worker or even the supervisor. Somehow I was given the number for the assistant supervisor Yvette & I couldn’t be more grateful for her guidance. I had hit a dead end over & over again & for the first time I encountered someone who had genuine compassion & empathy. IDespite her likely enormous work load, she didn’t rush me over the phone or cut me off as most others have done. I hung up with the peace of mind that the situation would be resolved & I believe it was- thanks to HER. Thank you for at the very least offering hope, because once that’s entirely gone & the hopelessness takes over, the gloom steals any motivation & all thats left is depression & my productivity levels become non existent. Thank you Yvette, I will absolutely pay it forward & hope somehow i can be of assistance to you should you ever need volunteer. Good day.

A female operator went above and beyond for me when I decided to make a phone call on the 26th of March 2021! She personally mailed my paperwork to me which saved me a trip. Whomever you are, I appologize that I can't remember your name, Thank You....

Walk in ask to speak to your case worker it's more easier plus you get whatever you need fixed right away does not take that long
No, you would need to re-apply due to your case being from out of state. Cases can only be transferred from county to county in the state of California.
Yes it is they can help you on mostly anything they have for services
Yes. General relief is for everyone who qualify. You do not need a child in the home. And yes dhs does general relief.
