Great campground. Has a pool w/ 3 hot tubs/spas of varying temperatures. 1 - 104°F 2 - 102°F 3 - 98°F Children are only allowed in spa 3. On top of the pool, this campground has a 9-hole mini golf course, fitness room w/ 2 treadmills and 2 elliptical machines, a little library, a card room, and a billiard room w/ a pool table (which is currently out of order and looks like you'll need a bit of change to pay for the balls) and air hockey. Card room, fitness room and reading room are all in the pool area. The campground is a ~15-20 minute drive to Palm Springs and a ~45-50 minute drive to Joshua Tree. Palm Springs is a really nice town with lots of shops and restaurants to visit. I would highly recommend Lulu's, the food, service, and environment in general is amazing! Overall 10/10 campsite! I have encountered no problems so far and look forward to possibly coming back in the future! Have a great day! :)

I stayed at a tent site for a few nights. The KOA Holiday amenities here are good, but you should be aware of some things. The tent sites are really dusty; yes I know it’s a desert, but the winds kick up the dirt. The tent sites are made up of near golf ball sized rocks , which I found uncomfortable even with a sleeping pad. The tent sites are not well lit at night; keep your flashlights handy. The bathrooms/showers are a bit of a longer walk than I have experienced at other KOAs. Also when I was there the bathroom could have used more attention to cleanliness. Still, the staff are very helpful and responsive. If you have never visited the area, Dillon Road is bleak. It’s RV land; the KOA sits next to a mobile home park, which when I stayed there was noisy overnight. It’s a short drive to Palm Springs. Travel tip: Be aware there is a worse than average labor problem. When I stopped by the cafes I had intended to visit (the dog friendly bakery and Rick’s) both were closed during the posted open hours. I found this problem elsewhere in Palm Springs.

I got a tent site. It comes with a table, power, and water. If your tent camping it will be default to drive stakes into the ground. The site is all gravel for the tent sites. The winds in the area can get pretty high. The bathroom come with two extra showers and clean. I do wish there was a trash can in the stand alone showers.

Beautiful layout, very nice people (even a night guard), first day the restrooms were clean, but they seem to be short staffed. The cleanliness especially in the men's section went drastically downhill. So many visitors not giving a f.... Gosh and there are still people not washing their hands after they went to the restroom. Yuck.

Hy, to the park visitor center round about 35 mile and 45 minutes.
Yes
Yep! This campground allows pets and even has a little area where you can let your pets run around. I do believe that you need to have them on a leash outside out of that area however.
The water that feeds the swimming pool is so hot one cannot get to close, it is really really nice. The pool and hot tubs were just given a overhaul too.
No day use. Camper guest use only.
Just had it last night. It was good. I had a black bean burger. The all beef big hot dogs came on a hoagie bun. Fries were thick steak fries. All was tasty and for a decent price.
Palm springs Joshua tree koa is very nice and I believe the monthly rates are $750 and that includes everything Just about 2 blocks farther is Sam's Family Resort and they have pools a lake bird sanctuary it's pretty friendly and it's $605 + electric but a lot to do
No, you don't need a reservation. Depending on the time, it CAN get busy, so it's generally a good idea to get one.
Yes we stayed there 2 weeks ago and there are showers and restrooms available.
Yes it was open when I was there a week or two ago. I was there for a few week days. Not sure what any restrictions might be in effect if there were more people there.
They have full time hosts onsite
Last time I checked yes.
