I came to this joint during my recent visit to LA; It was an online order for pickup. Upon arrival there was a short line outside waiting for seating but they were promptly seated before I entered the building. This place was bustling. Busy busy and every seat taken. I'm kind of disappointed I didn't order for dine in, oh well. Despite the crowd my order was ready on time. I ordered the spider roll, lexus roll, and an order of ikura. Everything was immaculate and delicious. The rice of the sushi was especially notable but let's not discredit the freshness of the fish and the excellent texture of the soft shell crab. A solid spot in my opinion and a second visit will have to be had to try out some other options.

Food was okay, service was okay. It's really an okay place. Sweet shrimp was made well, but one had a lot of black goo in the head that tasted really fishy, the other one was pretty good.

Very easy and convenient to order. Fast and efficient service. Good quality sushi with a good pricing menu. I would recommend this place to sushi lovers over Kura honestly, unless Kura change their staffing. I added pictures of the menu and some foods we ordered.

Decided tonight we should try something out of the norm and ended up ordering some sushi. Still relatively new to Gardena, we wanted to support local business and hit up Sushi Sumo. We were amazed by the quality of the food considering the cost co spidering all we ordered. Most of places I go the order showcased in the photos would of been closer to $100. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will hit up this spot again.
