I've been coming here almost weekly now for the last 8 months. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and eager to answer all your questions relating to gear, fly tying, rig set up and more. I've taken the intro to Fly Fishing class with Dave which was greatly informative as well as Fly Fishing the Surf class with Frank, both of which I highly recommend as both were great instructors and they continue to help me to this day dialing in my game during informal chats at the shop. 6 stars.

These guys are knowledgeable. And are nice. Just like most fly shops in the country. And prices are fair. But they only do returns of unused items for store credit (even on brand new non discontinued items). Not sure what to say about that as a business practice. Just a heads up to any out of town folks coming into the shop.

Hi Tocayo. The Spot does not do repairs. Do you know who the manufacture of the blank is? If so, you can reach out directly to them and ask about that section. If it's a rod company that the Fishermen's Spot carries, then they can send it out for you. The manufacturer will only send a blank section.

They are only a fly shop. And replacement of rings on a spinning reel will usually require replacing the entire guide.
