Great selection on all things anime! The energy was lively and customer service to match! Picked myself up a Goku pin. A must see for all my anime family.

Used to come here to play in dbz and yugioh tournaments when I was a kid 25 years ago. I have long since moved from Sherman oaks, but drove by on a whim after recently moving back to LA. Both surprised and not surprised they’re still around and kicking. Loved this place back in the day, and I’m sure it’s still the gem that it was back then :)

CAUTION. Resealed products. I bought 4 Pokemon Tins and they came with wrong packs. The original Older packs had been replaced with most generic newer sets. What a scam! I try to call, email, and leave a voicemail but no answer!

Overall, I liked this place. But I will leave an extremely honest review. It used to be my friends and I’s go-to for cards and tournaments, however as of late, their tcg prices have been extremely overpriced, where it’s become a meme/joke within the tcg community and among friends. The staff is awesome, and probably where they shine the most. They also have a cool selection of figures, statues and other anime merchandise, but if you’re looking for trading cards, you’re better off shopping online or driving over to Frank and sons which is out in puente hills. I’ve asked them about Frank and Sons prior to going, and they said not to go there cuz they over charge… oh boy. Yes, they’re higher than retail, but WAY more reasonable than Toy Mandala’s prices. They actually match TCGplayer prices and are negotiable. I used to really like Toy mandala growing up. It’s a nice store, but the prices do NOT need to be that high. I’ve seen booster packs here for $12 for a $4 booster pack elsewhere… I really hope they realize their prices aren’t fair to the customers and people will realize this sooner or later, just like my friends and I have. The prices are so bad, we drive 30 miles out to keep up the hobby because it saves us more money.. I really hope they fix this issue, because this used to be a place we loved to support. This would easily be a 5* if it weren’t for the robbery in prices.

Only Anime and Comics related card games like Pokémon, Yugioh and Magic the Gathering.
Yes they do
They have figma/figuarts. They range in price between 20-60 dollars depending on rarity, but they come with multiple realistic points of articulation, interchangeable hands for different poses, and some have interchangeable facial expressions. I am more a collector of kamen rider figuarts, but i definitely have seen dbz ones and bought a ss blue vegeta from there for a friend. But if you are looking for basic late-90's bandai style figure, i very much doubt it. Safest bet is to call the store or stop inside for window browsing
Not the owner of the store but they do buy cards on certain days throughout the week, call the store.
Yeah they do just call to make sure they have what you need 😊👍
