My company gifted me a facial for my work anniversary. Absolutely loved my experience with Joyce Marie. I noticed a difference in my skin texture and appearance immediately. Already made my next appointment. She’s very personable and tells you, step-by-step, what she’s doing. She used Dermalogica brand which I never used before but am so happy she did. I bought a couple of products to take home. She also gave me some samples which was really nice. Parking was easy. The office was super clean and relaxing.

I went to Joyce Marie to get my first facial in the wedding series she offers. I’ve had a few facials in the past, but none compare to hers. Joyce personalizes your facial to what your skin needs. My skin looks great and I’m so happy I found her! You can tell she is an expert in her field! She is so personable and really takes her time with you! I will definitely be getting regular facials with Joyce after the series is complete. I highly recommend Joyce and her prices are so reasonable!

Joyce is wonderful. I just had my first facial there (an LED treatment) and the results were excellent- and exactly what I was looking for before an event. Not only that- but she gives personalized attention, she consults on what your *exact* needs are, and is a warm person. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and I will definitely be going back.

Every time I have left an appointment with Joyce I have left feeling so happy and confident in my bare, natural skin! I’ve had plenty of facials in the past but my facials with Joyce truly are some of the most amazing! She examines your skin and knows exactly what to do/treat. Completely recommend.

Can I do anything to prevent the brown spots from showing up on my hands? Lisa Galizia E-RYT

I always recommend my clients keep an inexpensive sunblock with spf 30-50 in the car so it can be applied before driving. A lot of sun damage occurs daily from hours spent in the car. For those who have long trips to work I recommend wearing gloves without the fingers. There are many sun wear protection sites that sell these gloves on the internet.

Does getting a facial really improve your skin? What exactly is the process and how it work?

There are many types of facials that can be done depending on a person's skin type. Getting a deep cleansing facial is always a good start to see a big difference in your skin. This usually includes steam, blackhead extraction, face massage, and face masque. There are also treatments which include microdermabrasion treatments, oxygen treatments, and AHA Peels. All designed to give you the best deep cleansing facial with a glowing result.

Which skincare products should pregnant women avoid?

Ingrid Graham | Sep 7, 2018
Joyce Marie of Beverly Hills | Sep 7, 2018

Hi Ingrid, When you are pregnant it is important to use products that are free of Salicylic Acid, Retinols( Retna A, Renova), Glycolic Acids and Beta Hydroxy Acids. A skin lightener you should not use is Hydroquinone. Also stay free of chemical sunscreens with Avobenzone and Oxybenzone. Check the ingredient listings when purchasing your skincare line.
