Wish I could give it a zero have been here two days with pneumonia and missing a dialysis treatment due to flooding. Have wanted to ask questions and try to get the nurses to understand how I feel and I Feel like no one cares here. When you can’t communicate with patients how do you expect them to not get angry?? In the er floor is filthy. Nurses don’t come check on patients regularly. When I said I would try to sign out and go to Winchester but do not have a portable oxygen tank I was told “if you think they can give you better care then you go”. I have high blood pressure that constantly runs high. Tonight I did not have my hypertension meds because the nurse did not give them to me and like I said when you’re afraid to ask anything or tell them anything it makes it very hard to stay calm and very hard to want to get better. Honestly i wouldn’t bring my dog here and when I’m over pneumonia I will never be back to this place! Shameful that I am sick and worried about myself and this is what I receive from staff.

They don't pay attention to much at ALL , the doctor said my dad could be released this morning at 10am , it's now 3:30pm and they still haven't even started the release paperwork, he unhooked his lead lines a couple hours ago and no one even noticed ! Calling them A "bandaid station" would be too good of a review for them! The food was horrible he said , Martin ARH or Floyd county jail even has better food ! Lol ... This is BY FAR not the first or worst bad experience our family has experienced here, just the most recent one.

I was dealing long distance with the hospitalization of my son. I have nothing but praise for everyone that I dealt with, especially the social worker Jennifer who went above and beyond to be helpful in every way. I was very pleased with all the staff. Thank you for taking good care of my son.

This place is a joke to society…. The waiting time is for me anyways has always been 3-4 hours no matter what day or what is wrong with me, they just seem like they honestly don’t care about there stuff like other hospitals do, not clean and just overall a joke to be called a hospital. I have never been in and out here, it’s always been at least 3-4 hours even if I am the only one here in the er, the er lobby is a complete joke. They got some nice staff here but most are just a joke to even be here. By the way this review is only about the E.R, not the whole hospital itself as a whole but yes don’t recommend this place to anyone, just go to a better hospital if possible! Update also waiting for 4 hours today, the medication they prescribed me wasn’t covered by my health insurance :)!
