After my stroke I was agiven a90% chance of walking again. 2 years later I went to the shopping mall and walked all around the store. Helen Hayes is the best rehab in the region Helen Hayes rocks!

My husband went to this facility in bad shape. The case managers Maureen Gill & Elysia Acosta were EXCELLENT! They kept me updated every week on his condition, any change they were contacting me and my family, the floor staff was great as well. My husband was clean, bed changes, up out of the bed and responding much better. He was there for 3 months and I have no complaints. This is a great place to have your love one at.

Yes, for limited times. It can be arranged through the Patient Relations Department. Demand is high so they will generally allow only up to 3 night in a row and then it's someone else's turn. Of course after your turn you can go back on the list and wait for future availability. Also demand is higher on weekends.
Yes, both post surgical inpatient rehab for certain cardiac diagnoses and outpatient cardiac rehab consisting of one hour sessions Monday/Wednesday/Friday for several weeks. Call the main number during regular business hours and ask for the Admissions Department.
It depends on patients needs.
Allowed in all rooms unless the patient is on a ventilator, or has a tracheostomy tube for breathing. Balloons would be appropriate for those patients.
No
Call I have no idea
Yes
Have the Case Manager at the Nursing Home call the Admissions Office and discuss the possibility. Also it would be good to talk to the doctor at the Nursing Home and see if they think it is appropriate. That's my best advice, good luck.
11 to 9 all the time. Love this place. Wouldn't go anywhere else if I had to do it again
This question should be addressed to a hospital executive.
