I cannot say enough great things about the Omega Society. They were extremely professional during such a sad situation. They had a high degree of urgency and communication that helps build trust. Melissa was our consultant and she did an amazing job. I could not have asked for better service.

I had OMEGA take care of my mother after she passed. I was so pleased with OMEGA services. They were compassionate, kind and accommodating. The prices are very inexpensive. Melissa was so awesome, she explained everything to me and she did it with empathy and professionalism. I highly recommend OMEGA for the needs of your loved ones.

The Omega Society is an awesome organization. Their staff and team are passionate and understand the sadness that the family is experiencing with the loss of a loved one. They handled everything with grace and ease. Nydia was so kind and caring with all of my questions, and believe me, I had lots of questions. Our family memorial service and celebration of life was on the White Light Charter Yacht and it was beautiful. Our family was able to do our service and celebration exactly how we wanted. Captain Bruce and Cortney were absolutely wonderful. Thank you Dear God for showing us the way to the Omega Society!!!

We highly recommend Omega Society. They are very professional and we felt very comfortable with their service. It was especially comforting to know that our Loved one was only in their care from pick up through cremation which is a significant difference to other services out there. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and responsive to my many questions and returned calls in a timely manner. Omega was a Blessing in our time of need.

Questions & Answers

we recently had my nephew at Omega, I forgot to see the Urns you have smaller urns what is the cost and can they be engraved ?

Leilani Kapahua | Sep 6, 2020
Andrew | Sep 6, 2020

Hi Leilani - Omega urns start at $125 and go up to $295. We don't offer engraving at this time but local trophy shops generally can do this for you. Also, many families do find their favorite urns elsewhere for less and have our team help fill them for a small fee of $35.

Omega Society | Sep 7, 2019

Depending upon your specific needs, we can accommodate a group both at our location or at another location nearby. Please call us to discuss options and we will be happy to help you.

can viewing take place for a cremation. Is there caskets to rent or is the viewing on the cardbox box?

barbara medina | Sep 6, 2021
Omega Society | Sep 6, 2021

Hello Barbara. Yes, there can be an informal viewing prior to the cremation at our facility. We have a comfortable family room, where you can see your loved one in a natural state, where a casket isn't necessary, as they are in a container that is draped, with your loved ones faced showing. It is a very nice and very affordable way to say goodbye.

How do I find the cremation remains of Beatrice Killefer died November 1, 1969, cremated Nov 5, 1969 in Orange county California.

Omega Society | Sep 6, 2020

The best suggestion would be to order a death certificate from the County Recorders Office (informational copy, if a non-relative), where the place of final disposition is listed as either name and address of a Residence, Cemetery, or Scattered at Sea. The name of the mortuary who performed would also be listed, who may have records

in the event of my mothers passing where do I start? Years ago my father passed and he and my mother had joined the Omega Society. They took care of the necessary steps as far as I know. Now, living and caring for my 97 year old mom I have ?'s

If your mom is on hospice, just tell them you will use Omega services. They take care of everything. If not on hospice, then simply call Omega and they will walk tou through how to prepare and what to do at the time of her transition. Be strong, and don't worry. God has a plan for each of us.

Yes, contact the office, they are fantastic.

Where is this society situated. Is it approved from Lda.

Sajjad Khan Niazi | Sep 7, 2019

We are centrally located in the City of Orange and service the entire 5-county area from there. Do you perhaps mean LDS? We have served many LDS families and can provide a private family dressing at our location as well.

Hi, I am James E. Prock’s x wife and I need to get a copy of his Death Certificate. Doesn’t need to be an original. Could you email a copy? James passed on 9/23/13. If you can’t, do this, can you direct me who I need to call? Karin Prock

Karin Winters | Sep 7, 2018
Israel Sandoval | Sep 7, 2018

Best possible option would be to contact your local recorders office and petition for a certified copy, unless you have contact with the NOK to which you could ask for a copy..hope this helps you

What is the general rule of the format/custom for cremation and funeral?

Michael Salcido | Sep 7, 2018
Andrew | Sep 7, 2019

Hi Michael! That's a tough question as everything can be very custom to a family's personal needs. Cremation is generally very simple. Generally folks arrange services elsewhere at a later date, if at all. Funerals involve a casket, service venue, and a cemetery. We can arrange for both and do it at a fair, low price.
