Walking in at 9:00 pm gave a different type of experience from the staff. As group of 4, we were seated right away. In no time at all, the server asked for our drinks; 1 being ready and 3 still deciding. I would think if they were still deciding, our server would at least bring the 1 soft drink and the 4 waters we ordered, since it was over 100 degrees out. But he didn’t, he waited until all 4 drink orders were in, and those 4 waters never came. We had 2 new comers in our party and thought it would be a fun experience for them; the staff did not give us any time to look over or explain the menu. As soon as the drinks came out, they began telling us, it’s the last call and our orders need to be in right away. As the lady rushes us for our order, 2 other girls walk in and are seated with us. The staff did the exact same thing to them, rushed their drink and food order. The cook comes out and reviews the order and begins to cook. It was one of the worst performances I’ve seen at any Wabi Sabi. The volcano part of the show, which I find the fun part, was not very amusing. It sucked! The food distribution and portions were completely off. As we were eating, the group of staff was just standing and staring. Before we finished eating the staff came by and asked if they can give us the bill, which is fine, we will pay for our meal. We split the total between 2 cards, and thought to leave the tip in cash. As they processed our payments, they had already added gratuity and only left a spot for additional gratuity. I found that strange for a group of 4 having forced gratuity. But since the amount was less than what I had planned to leave in cash, we left it alone. The few times we dined at Wabi Sabi, I’ve need felt so rushed, and the staff being rude. Somehow the people that came in the latest, left before the people that were in earlier.

We always get delicious food when we come here. We love watching the chefs cook the food in front of us, especially our little toddler son. This place is great for big groups 👍

Great service, great rolls, they gave us complementary orange slices for dessert and fried stuffed jalapeños. It was really fun to sit at the sushi bar, the chef was very engaging.

The restaurant is amazing. The portions are great and the chefs know how to cook. You will not be disappointed by the quality of food here. The hosts, servers, chefs, everyone is so nice. This is a nice atmosphere within Chino Hills, definitely give them and the fried rice a try.
