I am changing my rating up two stars for this facility after my dog's recent visit. This time I felt like the veterinarian I got really went the extra mile to diagnose and cure the issue with my dog. The staff was very friendly and attentive as well.

I would follow Dr. Michelle Bousquet anywhere she goes. The staff is fabulous, Dakota. Jon, Crystal ( sorry I don't know all the names ). I have 1 senior girl who has to be given a mild tranquilizer before coming in or she will cause herself to have a seizure. They make sure she is treated with patience and love. My other grumpy old lady is lavished with love as well. Yesterday we had to let our old lady fly. Dr. Bousquet and staff were beyond loving and caring. They eased her transition so seamlessly and safe it made it less painful for us. We were able to continue holding her and kissing her nose and whispering our love even after she had passes. I can not even to begin to express my gratitude

I would HIGHLY recommend finding a different place to take your pet for regular check-ups than here. Nothing against the employees, they're all wonderfully nice and truly do care about your pet. However, as for the payment, it feels like a scam. We recently had our 2 dogs pass away, within months of each other. We had both of them on the annual Wellness plan. As far as we understood, it was about $57 monthly and auto-renewed annually. When the first dog died, we called to cancel and were transferred over to the Wellness plan line. Even without a dog to take, we still had to pay the next 3 months of the plan before being able to cancel. Our 2nd dog passed this week and they said we cannot cancel the plan for 3 months and it ends in September. It's a strange way that they calculate it, apparently they compare the price you've already paid for the year versus what you WOULD pay, and figure out from there if they will let you end your payment. Our dogs never were scheduled that often for their check-ups either, maybe 3 or 4 times a year they had a regular check-up and they RARELY - almost never - had any issues that required appointments outside of that. So that's why I suggest you find somewhere else to go if you want a regular, personal vet for your dog. If your pet were to pass away, you still need to pay for the plan regardless of if you have a pet to take or not. We were NEVER informed about it when we signed them up. Our third dog will not be going here, EVER. We will find a new vet for her. If you have the money to spend, then by all means go ahead and go here. However, if you're tight on money or simply find it outrageous that you have to keep paying for a plan YOU CAN'T USE and barely used to begin with, then please find somewhere else for your pet.

No grips as we all need to be a little more patient w Covid conditions. Had a drop off appt for Bella @ 12:00 which correlated w staff clocking in / out + let's not forget the office meeting taking place in the back. Soooooo... 38 minutes later I was finally able to "drop off" & take off. All good as it's ultimately about the care / medical attention that Bella receives while there. Unfortunately (for now) a pet owner isn't allowed in the room during examination - so you have to trust the process... Which I do... The Staff & Veterinarian's are good: Communicative - Caring - Thorough & Patient... I have never had a problem or felt pressed into buying medications or extra procedures / services to run up the tab. I've got the "Wellness plan" which is a good fit for me as I go between San Diego / Palm Desert thus able to go any Banfield clinic... My sincere "Thanks" for caring... John M.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.

We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
