Nice hike, trail was nicely maintained and slightly challenging. View at end of trail was beautiful!

It’s a nice hike. If the gates to the main parking are closed it is 4.00 miles in and out. There are some elevation changes, but overall it’s an easy hike. The scenery is nice during the lead up to the destination. At the destination there are not better views of the lake. It truly is something that will take your breath away.

Absolutely loved this trail. Pretty easy but has ankle roller/biter rocks if you're not accustomed to hiking. We saw a copperhead after a couple stopped directly over top of it to take photos. Please know that they are venomous and view from a safe distance. The views are stunning and it was fun watching kayaker and rock climbers.
