Worse office. No one answers the phone, even if you call at 8 am exactly. Their hours have not been adjusted even though vaccines are widely available and mask mandate are in effect. This office needs a new office manager and better coordination.

I had two Discectomies about 20 years ago about 6 months apart. Two years ago my back got so bad that I was unable to get out of bed. The surgeon that did my surgeries before quit his practice but he said I needed a Fusion of the L4 an L5 and sent me to another surgeon who said the same thing. I was referred by a friend to see Dr. Abshire. He spent about one hour with me going over every possibility. He thought that he could a Laminectomy on the L3,L4 and L5 and that should relieve the pain from the nerves. He performed the surgery and all the pain was gone. It was fantastic. He is a phenomenal surgeon and I have worked in the personal law business for 25 years and know what I am talking about. A fusion takes about 6 months to recover and the Laminectomy was about 30 days to recover. If you want a real professional surgeon the go see Dr. Abshire.

dr. abshire fused my spine in 2005. he did a fantastic job. i have full range of motion and have been (for the most part) pain free. however, i have abused the strength i have in my back and require surgery, again. i am going right back to dr. abshire again. plus, he has great 'bedside manner' and makes you feel at ease and comfortable with your decision to have surgery

do they have 0 stars. called to make an appointment. mentioned this was an urgent issue. promised a call back. no call received. called several times afterwards leaving voice mail after a promised return call. i suggest these people go into installing tv dishes or something that doesn't effect people's health

Our Neurosurgeons do not typically clip or coil aneurysms except in an emergency situation. In non-emergency cases, our neurosurgeons would most likely refer someone to a Vascular Neurosurgeon who specializes in that type of surgery. However, a consult with our neurosurgeons would help identify the next best steps for you to take.
It depends on your type of insurance. Please contact our office
