Great place for being an RV Resort. Over 500 acres to hike and the weather is perfect. The clothing optional detail is something to get use to but the amenities are great and they have Chef Mike Wray from hells kitchen creating new meal specials every week. The bar & restaurant are open on the weekends and were a good time. The only thing that could be better would be the wifi so it would be better if you provide your own internet like Starlink because the wifi is a bit suspect in different areas. The staff has improved exponentially and are extremely helpful & friendly.

Way off the beaten path with an awful county entrance rd, we enjoyed our time here and the people who attend here. Wish there were more to do when you're not able to hike for health reasons. Nice pool and hot tub and the entire staff is really accommodating, wish the bar and food service were more available. This is a clothing optional resort.

New management has breathed new life into a location that has it all. De Anza Springs is an oasis in the high desert adjacent to Anza-Borrego State Park--beautiful. But it needed better maintenance and more investment in the facility in order to be attractive to guests. This they have done. Plus, the regular live music they sponsor is a delight, as is the surprisingly good food they serve. All for what, to me, are rock-bottom prices. Don't miss it.

I was extremely weary going here the first time but the vibes I get here are amazing. The staff and owner Luke are personable and outgoing. I stay here when I go on hikes in the area, the cafe has good food and Jeff is extremely kind. Last time I came at night to check in and did not have a gate code. I met the owner Luke and he drove me to the gate and let me in personally, a very down to earth guy who is making amazing changes to this resort. The pool are clean and the indoor pool is great in winter. Overall a magical place where people are free and let you be free as well.

How do we get our propane tanks filled? We have tried for two weekends and even went into the office to ask. We left them all day both times. We have never had this problem in all the years we have been here. Any suggestions?

We do apologize for that. You did the correct things, place tank at fill station and let the office know that it is there and it will be filled shortly. Unfortunately, this time our field team got stuck on other projects and wasn't able to make it over to fill before you left.

What does it take to get a free night?

David Lindsley | Sep 7, 2019
Andrew Walden | Sep 7, 2019

A “free” night … why? De Ánza Springs Resort is a business like anywhere else … would you ask a restaurant for a free meal or a dealership for a free car? Nothing is free but you might consider contacting them with a reciprocity offer … bring business to them, they’ll do business with you. Good luck …
