This place is so cool! I love tiki drinks and stuff like that plus anything blue. It’s kind of fun ya know, well this place has the single greatest blue Hawaii I’ve ever had hands down. Any blue drink anywhere else can just be poured down the drain. These guys use some kind of coconut type mixture in it and it’s so MF creamy. Also the taco guy is good too, he comes by the tables and I think takes cards.

Love this place! We love to visit tiki bars and this place has the maybe the best drinks of any of them! The vibe is nice and chill, the decor is gorgeous, and the staff are all super kind and helpful. I highly recommend the nutty chi chi, voodoo juice, and mai tai. If you want food, Durango’s Tacos will come around and take your food order, and they have the best asada ever!

A bastion of delight in the wilds of North Hollywood. I don’t care if you’re into the tiki aesthetic or not, this bar has some of the best cocktails you’ll find around. First off, while there is a front facade to the bar, it’s an exit only and meant to be entered via the parking lot behind the strip mall. Most recently their parking spaces have been taken over by a built out patio space to better accommodate patrons due to the pandemic; though there’s still limited seating in doors with proof of vaccination. Regardless of where you sit you’ll enjoy a beautifully decorated space (which is more evident outside than in, with the low lighting they have indoors) that transports you outside of NoHo and into some kind of tropical paradise. There’s no food offered by the bar but food vendors will post up at the entrance to serve anyone at the bar and you can always carry or order in food any time. Highly recommend checking out the inside as well just to marvel at the classic decor.

Tonga Hut is the OG. And surprisingly they also have the best tiki drinks I’ve ever had. You would think an establishment with such clout for being the original may rest on their laurels like many older establishments do but not Tonga Hut. The blended drinks like the Pain Killer are particularly impressive. Many exotic flavors are delicately balanced in every drink here utilizing great rums as well. If you’re in the valley you owe it to yourself to go.

Sorry for the late reply the bar was closed yesterday for Thanksgiving. We will be open later today and we'll have amazing Mexican food outside starting at 8 pm, come by and have a great night.
As far as I know the only thing that has changed is the bench / fireplace area they added. If you search YouTube for Tonga Hut there's a great video of Marie explaining everything called THE TIKI SHOW | Adventures in Escapism. Tonga Hut
You can give them a call. Their number is mentioned online
No, but they allow you to bring in food and on popular nights they have a taco truck show up out back
It's a really small joint. No outside seating. But its friendly. You should check it out first.
Sorry it's not a definitive, but I believe you can
