They've helped me when no one else in Simi would. These folks are leading by example.

We have donated used items to this place many times. All the volunteers we interacted with were very kind. They seemed to enjoy the work they were doing.

I friend asked me to drive her to this place, I didn't like what I saw the volunteers treat people bad with no respect an old men was kicking the boxes they use to put the food🧐 they look at my friend like she didn't belong at that place, every single volunteer had something to say to my friend I think it was because my friend looked hispanic on top of that the food the give to my friend was pretty much bread old and expired I don't get whats the point to donate expired food and on top of that had to deal with a horrible "good people" attitude. I should of talked my friend to the store to get her some groceries so she doesn't has to deal with this trashy "good" people. Shame on them.

The Samaritan Center has made an incredibly positive impact on the homeless in Simi Valley. They have worked tirelessly to eliminate the stereotyping typically associated with homelessness and continue to work towards alleviating the problem entirely. I have seen individuals turn their lives around, families find housing instead of living out of a car with small children, and resources become easily accessible through the help of the incredibly generous individuals that serve at the center. They community first and ours is so much better off thanks to The Samaritan Center.

Questions & Answers

Does the clothing go directly to the people in need or can the sorters take some first.

Stephen White | Sep 7, 2019

Theres two sorters that volunteer to "stock" the clothes. Theyre very nice. If they dont show up, clothes get scarce. Sometimes its just picked over 70's era clothes nobody will EVER wear πŸ˜†

What is with Illuminatti pyramid hand sign on the websight?

A pyramid with an eye in it and rays of light is an old Christian symbol that God is watching over mankind. Just like the Samaritains watching out for mankind.

david vrana | Sep 7, 2019

you have to go there and the front desk will sign you up to see a counselor 9am would be a good time because your going to probably be waiting all morning until 11am .they will give you a voucher to get a tb test and they will access your needs at that time.they do drug screenings occasionally because they do not want to help anyone with a drug problem.they also will tell you the specific times and days you will be able to take a shower, have your clothes washed, etc.they do have clothes available on a rack unfortunately they will mostly put long sleeve shirts on it in the summer and short sleeve shirts on it in the winter the bulk of nice clothes they recieve go to the goodwill or ?and are never givin to the homeless
