My mom reached out to Funeraria del Angel before my Grandmother passed away and about a week after purchasing services my grandmother passed peacefully at home. We were beside ourselves and didn't quite know what to do next. I took over the responsibility of calling and arranging the collection of her body, the funeral home was able to walk me through the process. It was a traumatizing time that nothing can prepare you for and when they came to collect the body it was done in the most respectful way. From the entire experience that's what stood out to me most, the men collecting her body were incredibly professional and respectful, and even in my grief I appreciated the way they cared for my grandmother's body. The solemn tone of their voices and the way they spoke to us with such sympathy and respect. The rest of the services such as the service and the transportation of her body back to her homeland went without issue. I sincerely recommend this place to anyone looking for these services.

Extremely unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful service from the manager Leticia. We still had 15 minutes left with our grandpa’s casket open when she barged in and yanked off her portrait, while some of us were still taking pictures. This place only cares about the money and has zero compassion. They also have terrible communication skills. We specifically spoke to Leticia and told her not to add certain photos of my grandma to the video slide (those pictures were sent by her estranged daughter, it was our grandpa’s wish to not show our extended family any photos of her where she looked ill). She assured us that those pictures will not be added, but they were. My mom (daughter-law of my grandma) paid for the entire package. But because of the lame state law, my estranged aunt got to keep the death certificate and dvd. We were fully aware of that so we purchased an extra death certificate and dvd, which were not provided to us. When my mom asked about it she kept cutting my mom off and would not let her speak. She truly ruined our final moments saying goodbye to my beloved grandma.

After loosing our dearest father Clement on Friday 11th 2022 we had difficulties to find out about the arrangements where to go whom to call. Because we flew from Boston and it was very difficult for us to drive around in LA. But we were so lucky and fortunate to connect with wonderful, knowledgeable and compassionate people from Funeraria Del Angel in Van Nuys. We felt like they were a member of our family and they took care of us in a very professional yet very friendly and understanding people. We thank every each one of the staff employees who took care of us during our difficult situation. Especially Leticia Vandoval sweet, wonderful person!! We thank you from the bottom of our heart!!!!! My family and I highly recommend del Angel. The staff were all extremely kind and sensitive through such a difficult time. They helped us to understand all our options and were very patient and accommodating with any changes or special requests we had.
